It is with the deepest sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald Emery Hutzcal on April 21, 2025, at the age of 79.
Ron is survived by his beloved wife, Collien, and sisters Tanya Booth, Renae Davison and Shawn Hutzcal, brothers Norman Howe and Tyler Hutzcal and their families. Ron is also survived by his brother in-law Collins Harrow (Patricia). As well as many nieces, nephews, close friends, co-
workers and neighbours.
He was predeceased by his father Floyd, mother Norma and brother Tomas.
Ron was born on Nov 20th,1945 in Vancouver and lived most of his childhood in Richmond. It was in Richmond that he met the love of his life, Collien. They married in Richmond on October 4th, 1969 and were married for over 55 years.
Some of Ron's interests included travelling, baseball, fishing, card games and just visiting with friends over a meal. He loved his winters spent in Waikiki.
Ron's work career was very varied from heavy equipment operator, builder, owner of both a hotel and neighbourhood pub, realtor and city bus driver.
