It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Captain Ronald David Rowdon on February 20, 2026. He will be sorely missed.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Janette Emsley; his two sons, Sean and Chad Rowdon; and his two beautiful grandsons, Lucas and Jacob Rowdon.
Ron was a dedicated Army captain who served for 32 years, including time overseas and at headquarters in Ottawa in the Foreign Liaison Office, where he met his wife. Ron was known for his caring and kind personality and for treating everyone he met with warmth and respect.
