Ron, born March 5th 1931 in Surrey, England passed away peacefully on Thursday July 21st 2016, with his wife of 61 years at his side.
Ron and family immigrated to Canada in 1965 and took up residence in Chesley Ontario for a period of 3 years. The family moved to British Columbia 3 years later to the White Rock South Surrey area. Ron married his wife Frances Upton on April 11 1955. He was in the British Navy in the early years of their marriage and worked in Nursing and Insurance for the duration of his working years.
Ron is survived by his wife , Fran and 3 daughters Sandy (Ralph), Lorraine and Deb (Doug) and 3 grandchildren Shane, Ashley and Lindsay and 2 great grandchildren Dylan and Logann , along with his and Fran's faithful 4 legged companion Chase.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that a donation to the BC Kidney Foundation be made in his name.
Dialysis enabled Ron to have an additional 5 years with his wife and family.
