Sean Patrick McCarthy

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Sean Patrick McCarthy, 32.

Sean lived life with a boundless spirit of adventure, travelling extensively across Canada and abroad. He was outgoing, generous, and had a gift for connecting with people wherever he went. Above all, his greatest joy in life was being a father to his daughter, Kristina.

He is survived by his daughter, Kristina; his father, Pat McCarthy; his mother, Corenia, and stepfather, Wayne Chester; his brothers and sisters, Sheena (Hans), Daniel, Philip (Krystil), Sarah, and David; and his grandmother, Evelyn (Karl). He will also be lovingly remembered by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Sean’s humour, love, and adventurous spirit will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

One of Sean’s most cherished verses was John 3:16, which he often referenced:

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
