Sophie Claire Haines

Sophie was born in White Rock, B. C. on July 28, 2008. Although she was only 5, she touched many lives and brought joy to everyone she met.

She is survived by her Mom and Dad and her loving big brother Nicholas; Grandma Pat Monkman of Vancouver, Grandma Millie Haines of Edmonton, Uncle Mark Monkman and Aunt Karen Maunu, of Burnaby, Aunt Karen Van De Vyvere and Uncle Keith Nolan , Edmonton, Aunt Diane and Uncle Jeff LaMarche, Gibbons, and many cousins and wonderful friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013 at 2:00 o’clock at First Memorial Funeral Services-Fraser Heights Chapel, 14835 Fraser Hwy., Surrey.

As our Sophie was an avid collector of all things (sticks, feathers, shells, twigs, flowers and especially rocks), we are asking that you bring a rock to the service to hold during it and we will collect it afterwards to add to her collection. It will also serve as a physical reminder when we need it of all the love and support that is surrounding Sophie and our family. We are hoping that Sophie's friends will attend.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to BC Children’s Hospital.
