She is survived by her sister Jessie (Allan) and children Ian (Patricia), Mary (Ted), Bruce (Cynthia) and Hugh (Pamela) as well as grandchildren Matthew (Kimberly), Fraser (Wanda), John (Kailie), Erin (Chelsea), Cameron, Spencer, Sarah and Cole. She also leaves four great grandchildren in Australia (Lacey, Parker, Spencer & Grace) and many nieces and nephews across Canada. In their young married life Stewart and Neil moved to the Peace River country where they had many adventures with their young growing family. They moved to the coast in the early 1960’s where they stayed through their final years. Both Stewart and Neil especially cherished the 15 years they spent at Pender Harbour on the Sunshine Coast. Stewart lived her life with great dignity and poise and was much loved by many. The family would like to send a special note of thanks to the caring nurses and staff of Whitecliff (Retirement Residence) in Surrey, BC who made her final days so peaceful and loving.
