Wilfred Francis Bunz

It is with heavy hearts and cherished memories, we announce the passing of our beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Friend Wilfred Francis Bunz on February 11, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer. Wilfred was born in Muenster SK and met the love of his life Elizabeth (Betty) in Saskatoon. They married and moved to Burnaby BC in 1963 where he worked at Jim Pattison Chevrolet for over 41 years. Wilf and Betty moved to North Delta in 1969 where they raised their family, lived in the same house for 49 years and met many lifelong friends. He retired at 66 and enjoyed fishing, gardening, fixing up his 1934 Chev and watching all of his grandchildren's sports. Wilf leaves behind his wife and lifelong friend Elizabeth (nee Wosminity) of 58 years; two children Garry (Tia), Tami (Todd); eight grandchildren Samuel, Olivia, Jacob, Davis, Victoria, Nicklaus, Jackson and Mckenna; two brothers George and Gordon; four sisters Sylvia, Rosemary, Patricia and Rita and is predeceased by parents Frank and Laura; two sisters Martha and Marianne; son Murray and grandson Joshua. Wilf was a loving, kind and humorous person who was loyal and dedicated to his family and friends. He will be deeply missed and in our hearts forever. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday March 9, 2020 at 11:30am, Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, 14831 28th Avenue, Surrey, BC. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the BC Cancer Society in memory of Wilfred Bunz.
