April 4, 1923 – March 20, 2014
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our loving father and grandfather, Bill Friel at Peace Arch Hospital on March 20, 2014. He is predeceased by his devoted wife, Gwendolyn (2013) and half-brother, Norm. He is survived by his son, Bruce (Anita) and daughter, Paula (David). He is also survived by granddaughters, Julie (Michael), Laura (Lance), Alana, Karen (Kenny), and Kim (Darren) and three great-granddaughters, and sister, Phoebe, sister-in-law, Joyce, and nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held, Friday, April 11, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Victory Memorial Park Funeral Centre, 14831 28th Avenue, Surrey, BC.
