Andrew B. Veloso

Andrew B. Veloso of Swansea MA, passed away unexpectedly on March 26, 2017. The loving son of Mary Bartelt and Antonio L. Veloso, Andrew was 23 years old. He attended elementary and junior high school in Swansea and graduated from Diman RVTHS in Fall River, in 2011. He was a community volunteer with the Fall River Youth Court throughout high school. For the past few years he has been working at Starwood Hotels and Resorts reservation center in Fall River.

In his brief life, he brought joy to many, always having a smile ready. He was very proud of his sneaker collection, matching each pair to his work clothes every day. An avid Patriot’s fan, he knew all about the players and their history. In addition to his parents he is survived by his grandmother R. Virginia Bartelt of Appleton, WI along with his aunts Betsy Bartelt (Matt Welter) of Green Bay, WI; Maria G. Ribeiro (Alvaro) of Monroe, CT; Rosa V. Pope (Ted) of Columbia, MD; uncle Tim Bartelt, of Appleton, WI, and cousins Alvaro Ribeiro (Rebecca), Victor Ribeiro (Naomi), Rui Ribeiro (Amanda), and Christina and Sarah Pope.

His Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME AT BIRCHCREST, 189 Gardners Neck Rd., Swansea with visiting hours prior from 9:00 – 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Vinnicum Woods Cemetery, Swansea.
