

Jeanne (Dominov) Hodges, age 75, of Swansea, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, January 21, 2018 in her family home that her father built and where she was born and lived for 75 years. She was the daughter of the late Siy and Anna (Kozak) Dominov.
Jeanne attended Joseph Case High School and the South Swansea Union Church. Jeanne was dedicated and hardworking starting her very first job at Louis Hand Curtain Factory, Spidel Jewelry Manufacturing, Coro Jewelry Manufacturing, Data Packaging, Genzyme Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and most recently as a cashier at Seabra Grocery Store in Swansea, before retiring in 2008.
Jeanne loved all animals, especially her two cats Muffin and Biscuit and could always be found feeding the neighborhood pets.
She is survived by her loving sister, Ann Marie Beech-Iavarone of Swansea and her brother George Dominov of Cumberland, Rhode Island. She spent her life with and was deeply loved by Linda Iavarone of Swansea, John Iavarone of California, Tami Iavarone of Rhode Island, also survived by several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Emelia D. Sadler, Catherine D. Thomas, Helen D. Ferreira, John and Mary Dominov.
During her brief illness she lived at home with her special niece Linda, received loving care daily from her sister Ann Marie, dear friend Sheila Valero and Southcoast V.N.A. Hospice.
