

John M. Frissell, age 68, of Swansea, went to be with his Lord Jesus Christ, Friday, September 30, 2016 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Elaine S. (Palmer) Frissell with whom he shared 47 years of loving marriage.
Born in Rochester, NH, a son of the late Sydney D. and Barbara (Hannah) Frissell, he resided in Dracut for over forty four years before moving to Swansea in 2012.
Mr. Frissell received his Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University. He worked as an electrical engineer manager, most recently at Wang and Waters where he was highly respected & esteemed in his field. .He retired reluctantly in 2012 due to illness.
He was an active member of the Christ Church United of Dracut where he was very involved with many different youth programs as well as adult leadership rolls on many
Committees throughout his many years of membership and service.
Family time was always something John encouraged and thoroughly relished. Camping at the ocean with family was one of his joys as was taking "Bumpa's" grandchildren
and sharing experience especially the campfires or working on 1966 Mustangs with Jer, or fixing paddock fences for the "real" horses for and with Tam.
Education was something John greatly encouraged and supported. He helped many family members attain the stature of graduate.
The loss is immense. We will always love and miss John (Johnny family nick name) but what a legacy of Faith, Love, and fulfillment John and Elaine retired to the ocean that was their dreams
You were faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son: Jeremy Frissell and his wife Christine of Rehoboth, one daughter: Tammy Deppe Theall of Cary, NC, two brothers: Sydney Frissell and his wife Margaret of Johnson City, TN, Tim Flynn and his wife Betty of Florida, one sister: Johanna Butts and her husband Charles of Falmouth, ME, four grandchildren: Jakob, Billie Katherine, Macy and Morgan and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Ted Smith and Helen Aldrich.
