Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late John H. and Amelia (Kot) Dedrick, she was a graduate of Somerset High School and received her Masters Degree from Framingham State College.
Mrs. Paradis was employed as Teacher in the Fall River School system for over 30years.
She is survived by her daughter Jennifer Poland and her husband Justin of No. Dighton; two grandchildren Jameson and Juliana Poland; a brother Paul D. Dedrick and his wife Diane of Seekonk; a sister in-law Sandra Santos and her husband Frank of Swansea; a cousin Sandra Czekanski of Somerset and several nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 31, 2017 at 10am in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Birchcrest, 189 Gardeners Neck rd., Swansea. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 4 to 7pm. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery in Fall River. Memorial contributions in her honor may be made to Relay for Life/ American Cancer Society 1324 Belmont St., Suite 204-101, Brockton, MA 02301.
