Pamela J. Coady Valerio

Pamela J. (Coady) Valerio, age 56, of Fall River, passed away, Thursday, April 7, 2016 at St. Anne’s Hospital. Born in Urbana, IL, a daughter of Robert F. and Leah (Talbot) Coady of Somerset, she lived in Somerset before moving to Fall River many years ago.

A graduate of Somerset High School, class of 1978, she attended the New Bedford School of Design and was a veteran of the United States Navy. An avid reader, Pam enjoyed caring for people, flowers, music, camping, and collecting porcelain dolls.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by one daughter: Erica Carrita and her husband Joe of Swansea, four sisters: Lisa Coady and her partner Lisa Seelye of Fall River, Rebecca Bradbury and her husband Paul of Middleton, DE, Charlene Moniz and her husband Stephen of Somerset, Kimberly (Coady) Zaller and her husband Jeffrey of New Bedford, one brother: Robert Coady and his wife Patricia of Dartmouth, two grandchildren: Travis and Leah Carrita, and several nieces and nephews. She was the companion of the late Maurice Shulenburg.

Her Funeral will be held on Monday, April 18, 2016 at 8:30AM from the Waring-Sullivan Home of Tribute at Birchcrest, 189 Gardners Neck Rd., Swansea, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM in St. Thomas More Church, 386 Luther Ave., Somerset.
