

Born in New York, New York, a son of the late Stanley and Elsie (Rushton) Rees, he lived in New York before moving to Rehoboth in 1967.
A graduate of Dewitt Clinton High School, he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from Columbia University. He served in the United States Navy during World War II as a Petty Officer.
He worked in sales, marketing, and research in the wiring cable industry for many years. He enjoyed traveling and playing tennis and was known as “Sugar Bear” on the court.
He is survived by three children: Keren Rees of Grandville, NY, Peter S. Rees and his wife Margie of Rehoboth, Mark K. Rees and his wife Carol of Wells, VT, three brothers: Kenneth Rees of NY, NY, Stanley Rees and his wife Donna of Kelowna, British Columbia, Clyde Rees and his wife Debbie of Mooresville, NC, five grandchildren: Jessica, Kaela, LeAnn, Israel, and Asia, and several nieces and nephews.
His Funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 10:00AM in the Rehoboth Baptist Church, 132 Moulton St., Rehoboth. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Monday from 4:00 to 7:00PM in the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE at BIRCHCREST, 189 Gardners Neck Rd., Swansea. Burial in Village Cemetery, Rehoboth.
