It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we mourn the sudden death of our darling angel, Bailey Alexandra Rose Swan at the tender age of 14. To all that knew "Bail" she was beautiful, brilliant, smart, outgoing and a forever friend. Whatever challenge she set forth upon, she excelled. She was a honors french immersion student at Sydney Mines Junior High. She had a passion for learning, writing, reading and painting. Bail was chosen to attend a Youth Leadership Program at Acadia University this summer. Her sister "Em" meant the world to her. Bail was her best friend and role model. For those who knew her well, she loved to be outdoors, being active, walks, biking and swimming. Going to the beach with family and friends and long drives with her cousin "Becca" were among many of her favorite things. Bail's self expression was often seen in the colors of her hair which could change on a day to day basis, beautiful and bright. She aspired to become a lawyer.
Bailey is survived by her loving parents, Lisa & Percy Swan, sister Emily and her favorite furry friends, JJ & Alex. Cherished grand daughter to her maternal grandparents Allan & Rose Caldwell and paternal grand parents, Marie Dandy and the late Clarence Dandy. Adored niece to Tracey Penny, Alana Caldwell, Rose Swan, Lena Wolfson-Swan, Tommy Swan, Teddy Swan, Darrell Roland and Joanne Allen. Beloved sisters by heart, Rebecca MacKay, Morgan MacDonald and Leaha Wolfson and special Grandmother Marjorie Harding. Cousins Mitchell MacKay, Jeoffory & Brandon MacDonald, Nicholas & Lucas Roland, Rayell & Peter Swan, Teddy & Cameron Swan and Jillena & Rachel Wolfson. Special friend and cousin Matthew Skinner.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Northside Baptist Church.
The angels looked down from heaven
They searched for miles afar,
And deep within the distance
They could see a shining star.
They knew that very instant
That the star was theirs to gain,
So they took you up to heaven
Forever to remain.
Reunited with another beautiful shining star, cousin Kelsey Dawn Keeling.
