In loving memory and will be sadly missed by son, Garfield Rice; daughters, Rose Rice, Mary Long, Brenda Hynes and brothers, Thomas Rice and Albert Rice; sister Dorothy Theriault; grandchildren, Willena Iannetti, Amanda Long, Michael Rice, Kevin Silver, Tina Hynes, great grandchildren Thomas iannett, Kayla Ianetti, Pearl Hynes and Luke Silver.

Besides his parents, Weston and Ellen Matilda (Boutilier) Rice, he was predeceased by his wife, Rose Elizabeth (Alywar),son, Arthur Rice; brother, Lewis Rice; sister, and Nellie Pero of Alder Point; granddaughter, Marsha Hynes; great-granddaughter, Kaitland Iannetti.

God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

Visitation will take place at Fillmore and Whitman Funeral Home, Thursday, Jan. 20, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held Friday, Jan. 21, 2011 from Trinity Anglican Church, Sydney Mines at 2 p.m. with Rev. Peter Rafuse officiating with burial at a later date in the parish cemetery.
