It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Blanche Levoinnois. Blanche passed quietly in her room at the MacGillivray Guest Home on Sunday, August 18, 2019 in her 100th year. She is the daughter of the late Gustave and Julie (Girardine) Allain.
Blanche was a longtime resident of Westmount and a devoted member of Holy Rosary Parish. She was also a longtime member of the Westmount Fire Department’s ladies auxiliary.
She is predeceased by her husband Leo, her adopted son Louis and she was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She is survived by her sons Frank (Deborah Boulter) and Leo, grandchildren: Frankie, Edie, Aimie, Kathleen, Adam, Dwayne and Julie as well as numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives .
A visitation will take place at TW Curry Parkview Chapel on Tuesday, Aug. 20 from 7-9 and then on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Rosary Church in Westmount with Fr. Doug Murphy officiating on Thursday, August 22 at 10 am. Interment to follow in the parish cemetery. Memories and condolences may be forwarded to the family by visiting www.twcurry.com.
