Carol Marie MacNeil, 64 of Sydney, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Neal and Bridget (Murphy) MacNeil.
Carol Marie worked for 30 years for the company Alcan, returning 3 years ago to her beloved Cape Breton to retire.
She is survived by her siblings Hector and Mary, both of Sydney; Lawrence (Marcella), Toronto and by several nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by all those who knew her.
She was predeceased by a brother in infancy.
A graveside service will take place on Saturday, April 15 at 10 am at Resurrection Cemetery, Sydney Forks with Fr. Bill Burke officiating.
