She graduated from Holy Angeles High School, and went on to graduate from St. Francis Xavier University. After graduation, Cathy worked at the Cape Breton Regional Housing Authority and remained there until her retirement.
Cathy was predeceased by her sister Helen (Donnie) Earle, Geraldine (Jerri), sister-in-law Ann Marie (Simon) MacDonald.
She is survived by her brothers Justice Simon (Susan) MacDonald of Northside East Bay and Father Peter MacDonald of Pictou County. She is also survived by nephews Jeffrey (Rose) Earle, Calgary, Simon (Amanda) MacDonald, Ottawa, niece Jennifer (Josh) Quinlan, Calgary, brother-in-law Donnie (Ann) Earle, Coxheath.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration and funeral mass for Cathy will take place in the summer. Memories and condolences can be shared with the family by visiting twcurry.com.
