It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the death of Clifford Floyd Paul , age 40 of Eskasoni. Clifford passed away Monday, August 14, 2017 in Halifax.

Born in Sydney, he was the son of Sylvester Paul Sr. and Clara (Christmas) MacAulay.

Clifford was a loving man who had a great love for his 4 beautiful children. He had many friends, always prayed for his family. He was a proud Mi’kmaq who enjoyed chanting native songs.

Clifford is survived by his loving companion Tracey Fahie; children Zaire (15 years old); Raven (6 years old); Kario and Aliyah (both 2 years old); siblings Urban (Tayla), Clayton (Heather), Sylvester Jr., Louis (Marilyn), Cliffton, Zachary, Trudy Googoo, Cynthia Paul, Edna Paul; godparents Thomas Christmas and Deborah Isaac; uncles Stephen Christmas, Terrence Paul, Clement Paul; aunt Arlene Stevens and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Louis and Edna (Johnson) Paul; maternal grandparents Michael & Elizabeth Christmas, aunt Elizabeth Joe, uncles Michael Christmas, Clifford Paul, George Paul and cousins Alyssa Isaac, Fabian Joe and Mary Elizabeth Christmas.

Visitation for Mr. Paul will begin after 7 pm on Thursday, August 17 at the Gabriel Center, Eskasoni. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Saturday, August 19 at Holy Family Church with Fr. Martin MacDougall officiating.
