Daniel Joseph Francis

It is with deep sadness and much love that we announce the sudden passing of Daniel "Danny" Joseph Francis at his home in Eskasoni. Daniel was a hard working man in his younger days. He worked as security at Eskasoni Pow-Wow's and loved his country music especially Merle Haggard. He is survived by his daughters Lisa (Donald), Tillie (Aaron) and Tiffany (Matt), sons Jeffery (Ralcie), David (Jenny) and Kenneth "KJ" (Janice), grandchildren Kayla, Brighton, Lonnie Jr., Carter, Isabella, Nichole, David Jr., Mackenzie, Alan, Jerome, Letoya, Ashlee, Aaron Jr., Kristopher, Khloe and Lucifer, great gandchildren Raiden, Rosalee, Phoebe, Neil Jr., Charley and Priyanka. Danny is also survived by many nieces, nephews, brother David, sister Josie and his god children.

Daniel was predeceased by his parents Stephen Peter Francis and Annie Claire (Paul) Francis, his wife Rose Ann Googoo, daughters Margaret Anne "Sissy", grandson Kendren Levi Michael, granddaughter Maureen Rianne, brothers Ryan, Joe Alan, Roderick, Norman, Angus and Jonas and sisters Catherine, Rosemarie, Caroline and Marion.

Visitation for Daniel will take place at the Gabriel Centre starting at 7pm on Saturday, Oct. 14. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30am at Holy Family Church, Eskasoni on Monday, Oct. 16 with Fr.
