Dear Ken, Mary and Family,
I was so saddened to hear about Dorothy's recent passing. I had just sent out a Christmas card two weeks ago. Please accept my heartfelt condolonces. Dorothy was such a wonderful and caring person and she continued to write to me every Christmas since my own mom (Sally Chisholm) passed. I used to visit Dorothy and Ken when I'd come home to visit. As I was going through your photo collage, I came across pictures of Mom and Dad and I loved the one of Mom, Dorothy and Theresa on the beach in Florida. How they loved to travel to Florida! I know Mom now has her best friend in heaven with her. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Mary and family - I was saddened to hear of the passing of aunt Dorothy.  I remember her laughter, her joking and teasing and the pleasure of her company when I was a young boy. My thoughts are with you.

We were so saddened to hear of Dorothy's passing. We wish to extend our most sincere condolences.  I have fond memories of visiting Dorothy with our girls when they were small and Sally taking pictures of them in Dorothy's beautiful garden. Dorothy was always so pleasant and wore what seemed to be a permanent smile. May you take comfort in knowing that she is now  free of suffering and pain.  We hope that the pain and sorrow you now feel, will soon be replaced with the precious memories that you hold so dear.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you!

To the family of Dorothy...  

   My condolences on the loss of a lovely lady. Dorothy was one of the first people I met on coming to the then College of Cape Breton when it was located on George St. She was always cheerful, gracious and helpful to me as I settled in and she was the same through all the years since. 
  I thought that if Cape Breton had such people in it, then it would be a wonderful place to stay.
