George Joseph Elliott, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, July 13, 2017.
Born January 27, 1952 in Moncton, he was the son of the late Clarence and Joyce (Lohnes) Elliott.
George was a kind, gentle hard working man and generous man. He was a mechanic by trade and took great pride his car – ‘his baby’.
He is survived by his wife Mary Agnes Paul-Elliott; grandson Antonio Joseph Foster; siblings David, Deborah and Darren Elliott and Kim Guimond and by many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his son Christopher Joseph and brother Stephen.
Visitations for Mr. Elliott will take place on Saturday (today) and Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at T.W.Curry Parkview Chapel. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 am on Monday at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church with Fr. Duaine Devereaux officiating. Interment in Membertou Memorial Gardens, Membertou.
