Jack was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed spending his free time fishing around Cape Breton and discovering off road trails. Jack had a great sense of humour and a contagious laugh that could light up the room. Jack loved to spend time with friends and family, where he spoke of all his great experiences and adventures throughout his life. Jack was a great storyteller and an entertainer who loved to sing and dance.
He is survived by the love of his life Raylene Sylliboy, sons; Aymen, Mohamed; brother Keegan (Ander); brother-in-law Keith Denny, sisters-in-law Karina, Nicole (Sean), Claire (Billy), Grace, Candice, mother & father-in-law Joan and Keith; aunts Germaine (PJ), Junita (Johnny), Kathleen, Julia (Mike), Elaine (Mike), Gabriella (Mike) and Maria; uncles Tom (Frances) and Stevie; godchild Keedan; godfather Christopher as well as many nieces and nephews.
Jack was predeceased by his nanny Sarah Mae, grandfather Gabriel; sister Marllinda Lee, aunts Catherine and Bernadette; uncle Reggie and cousins Chris Andrew and Eric Sylliboy, godmother Karen and father-in-law Greg.
Visitation will be held at 111 Tupsi Dr, in Membertou on Friday November 27, 2020 starting at 7 pm through to Sunday at Noon. A 2nd visitation will commence on Sunday November 29, 2020, starting at 7pm at the Gabriel Center in Eskasoni. A private family Mass will be celebrated on Monday November 30, at Holy Family Church with Fr. Antolin Asor officiating.
