To the Dickie Family,  My heart was saddened to hear of the loss of a great man, Mr. Dickie (that's how I referred to him back in the days when I worked with him at Maritime Tel&Tel).  He was a quiet gentleman that everyone respected and admired.  He treated everyone with dignity and had a 'dry wit' with a sparkle in his eye,  that made everyone smile and it was great to hear him laugh. His children (who I have also had the pleasure to work with throughout the years) are a testiment of his values, strong work ethic and just truly good, sincere, loving people.  I consider myself fortunate to have worked with Mr. Dickie and my heartfelt condolences go out to each and every member of the family at this very sad time.  With love and understanding,

Marion and Family. There are no words to express my sorrow for you and your family. You have been through so much these past four years. I  have so many memories of good times Joan and I spent in Seafoam getting ideas and things ready for Grand Chapter.I can still remember Jim taking us out to his workshop to show us the umbrella he had built. It was something else.  And then getting it in place at Grand Chapter.   I am so glad I got to see you this July at Grand Chapter if only for a few minutes. My  heart goes out to you, he was your care giver and always treated you like a queen and a beautiful one at that.  You wonder just how much heart ache a person can take.  Had there been a service I would have come over. WHen things settle down I will call you.  This all must be a terrible shock for the family, however in the end a blessing for Jim that he did not suffer long. Marion ,you and your family will be in our hearts and prayers.I received this card when Sister Anna passed away " I have this feeling there's one more star up in the sky to-night. Marion, Jimmy, Carol & Mary...I cannot believe the pain you must all be going thru.  I will always remember Jim with the fondest of memories, tons of them, from the neighbourhood days, the camping trips, the Seafoam escapades, and many more.  I remember at Carol & Peter's wedding how he was talking to me about my dad, and how he still missed him.  I suspect the two of them are together now, talking about all the good times and joking around.  Thinking of you all...
