

Judy graduated from Holy Angels High School in 1975, and Sydney City Hospital School of Nursing in 1977. She moved to Halifax shortly after graduation, and began her 47 year career as a Registered Nurse. Judy was cherished for her compassionate nature and enduring commitment to her patient’s well being. She had a remarkable ability to connect with people, positively impacting the many lives of her patients and their families.
Judy lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed traveling, reading and especially loved spending time with her friends and family. A beloved sister, loving aunt, and loyal friend, Judy will be greatly missed by many.
Judy is predeceased by her parents Joe and Mary Jane MacMullin of Sydney, Nova Scotia. She is survived by her sister Ann Marie (Barry), and brothers Francis (Connie), Alan (Karen), Owen, and Clem; Nieces and nephews Brandon (Victoria), Ryan (Jenn), Erin (James), Ron (Heather), Jane (Mark) and Emily; Her great nieces and nephews Claire, Eloise, Jake, Charlie and Sterling; And many cherished cousins, extended family and friends whom she loved deeply.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of T.W. Curry Parkview Chapel. A private service will be held at a later date with inurnment at Resurrection Cemetery, Sydney Forks. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family by visiting twcurry.com.
