Kathleen cherished her family and friends and was a devoted Catholic. She truly believed in serving her community and dedicated her life to doing so, as an active member of the CWL and the Diocese of Antigonish, holding various executive positions and contributing to the Cape Breton Coalition for Social Justice.
She is survived by her daughter Sharon, son-in-law Bill Hewitt, her cousin Leo and many other cousins. She was preceded by her mother Virginia Bellefontaine, brother Jack and cousins Frankie, Sheila and Jimmy, who were like siblings to her.
A short visitation will be held Wednesday, March 25th at 10 a.m. until the mass at 11 a.m., followed by a reception. All will take place at St Marguerite Bourgeoys church, located at 40 Cabot St in Sydney. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family by visiting twcurry.com
