Margaret Ann Dairou

Margaret’s love for horses and going to a ranch in Ontario is where she met the love of her life and soul mate. One day, a handsome young man helped her onto her horse, and at that moment she knew this man was the man she was going to marry. They have been married for 53 years.

Margaret’s love for her family made many celebrations or get togethers a happy time. Margaret’s hobbies consisted of knitting, crocheting and gardening. Her favorite pass time was sitting and watching the hummingbirds at her window and admiring her beautiful garden. Mom loved playing cards for hours with anyone who would take their chance and try to win.

Margaret is survived by the love of her life and soul mate husband Adrian; her children; Yvonne Dairou Langille (David) Sydney, NS, Jeanette Dairou, Newmarket, On, and Adam Dairou (Lynn), Sydney, NS.

Also surviving are her grandchildren; Ashley Wood and Eric Dairou both of Sydney, NS, Daniel Serbin, Newmarket, ON, Brandon Dairou and Madison Dairou, both of Sydney, NS and her great- grandchildren Khiara McGrath and Preston Wood.

Margaret also leaves to mourn her brothers Arthur Byng and Alfred Byng, both of Ontario as well as many nieces and nephews.

Margaret is predeceased by her parents, Albert Irwin Byng and Elsie Lorraine Byng (Smith), sisters Jean Tew (Byng) and Sandra DiPietro (Byng) and brother Robert Byng.
