Pierro was born September 26, 1953 in Sydney to Benjamin and Madeline (Francis) Johnson.
Survived by his children; Theodore (Amber), Roderick Noel, Simon (Catherine), Kevin Jerome, Irene Margaret and Julienne "Lena", all from Eskasoni; Annie Doucette and Julian Wells from Membertou. Siblings; Emily Toney, Jeannette Dent , Alabama, Walter Johnson, Lillian Marshall and Katrina Nicholas. Pierro is also survived by 33 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and godchild Belinda Johnson. Close friends; David Joe, Michael Denny, Rannie Denny, Charles "Chuckie" Francis, Alexander Alex, Terry Poulette and many more.
Pierro "Moose" was predeceased by his parents Benjamin and Madeline (Francis) Johnson, his son Pierro Johnson Jr. and former wife Annie Janet Herney.
Visitation for Pierro "Moose" will start on Sunday February 16, 2025, 7:00pm at the Gabriel Centre in Eskasoni. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday February 18, 2025, 10:30 am at Holy Family Parish in Eskasoni with Fr. Antolin and Deacon Tom officiating. Burial and Salite to follow.
