Raymond Wyatt Morrison

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing on November 27, 2025 of our dear son, father, partner, brother, uncle and friend Raymond Wyatt Morrison. Born on April 8, 1985 to Lori Doucette (nee Morrison). He loved his children, Zamien Marshall-Morrison, Majgeta Morrison, Renesmee Morrison, Adele Morrison and Harmony Marshall. They were his world.

Raymond was a fun loving, character who was full of mischief. He enjoyed kids and never outgrew the kid inside. He would go out of his way to make you smile. Raymond was employed as a carpenter for Potlotek First Nation. He previously worked on road construction with Nova Construction. In earlier years he worked as a landscaper for Potlotek. He also worked in Security in Membertou. His handiwork could be seen all over Potlotek, and he was a member of the Potlotek Volunteer Fire Department. Regardless of what he was doing he was always willing to lend a hand. In his spare time, he could most often be found chilling at home, gaming on his machine.

He is survived by and will be deeply missed by his parents Lori and Keptin Francis Doucette, his partner Dawn Isaac, children Majgeta Morrison, Renesmee Morrison, Adelle Morrison all from Potlotek, Zamien Marshall-Morrison and Harmony Marshall, both from Membertou, siblings Edward (niece Mariana) Doucette, Elijah (niece Barbara, nephews Carlos and Dante) Doucette, Gideon (Delena) Doucette, Charles (Kait) Johnson and Arthur Johnson all from Potlotek. He is also survived by his god children Corey Paul "K-C", Chayson Boudreau, Dustin Paul and Carlos Doucette. He was also survived by his biological father Arthur (Fitzy) Johnson, godfather Joe Kelly Sylliboy as well as numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and many friends. Raymond was predeceased by his grandparents Barbara and John W. Sylliboy, godmother Louise Herney, and niece Jordyn Johnson.

Visitation will take place starting at 7pm on Thursday, December 4th at the St Kateri Tekakwitha Chapel, Potlotek and continuing until the start of the Mass at 11am on Saturday, December 6th at Immaculate Conception Church, Barra Head with Fr. Duncan MacIsaac officiating. Cremation to follow, burial to take place at a later date.
