It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother. Raymond Stanley Pitchuck. Born on Feb. 27,1943 to the late William and Stephanie (Mischiek) Pitchuck. Raymond always had a love for cars, so much so that he started and operated Ray’s Autobody for many years. Ray loved to cook, and he created some wonderful family meals. We will miss his cooking so much. He also enjoyed spending time at the Legion with friends and was known to scratch a few tickets.
He was the absolute humor of our family and always had us laughing.
Besides his parents, he is predeceased by sisters Rose, Theresa, Catherine and Blair, brothers Sonny, Michael, Dickie and Ricky.
Left to mourn his passing are his beloved wife and best friend Ann, who he had the most beautiful love for. Children Tammy (Jimmy MacKinnon), Karen (Lee Peach), Jacqueline and Ray jr., grandchildren Justin, Brandon, Katilyn, Jaymee, Ryan, TJ, Brenden and Johnathan, great grandchildren Rayya, Rayden, Luka and Kenzie as well as his sisters Delores Muise, and Patricia (Duncan) Layes, brothers Paul and Stephen, sisters-in-law Greta and Yvonne, brother-in-law Gerald Burke and many nieces and nephews whom he adored, also his nephew/ brother Kenny.
