You are and will always be my one true soul-mate,
We will always and forever walk hand in hand,
And side by side until the end of time,
You will always be my guiding light,
And we will always be each other’s one
True Love ,

If You were one of the lucky ones that knew “Jimmy” then you knew that Jimmy was your instant friend for life. Jimmy loved everyone and everyone loved Jimmy. Jimmy loved his boy’s Corbin and Connor with all his heart and was their biggest fans in everyday life. Jimmy would be the first at any event and the last to leave. Jimmy was so proud of his sons. Jimmy’s greatest accomplishment in life was being a DAD and loving husband. Jimmy was a kind, loving, and gentle man who would do anything for anyone and expect nothing in return. Jimmy would always start and end his day by saying “I love you” to his wife and children. This is the type of man that will be so sadly missed.
Jimmy is survived by his forever and loving wife Marsha, as well as his two loving sons Corbin and Connor Sabattis. He also leaves behind a large family that will continually love him. Jimmy Loved his sisters Claudette, Cathy, Janet, Vicki and Shelly, as well as his aunts Cora Tomer and Rosemary Young. Jimmy has one surviving brother Frank Sabattis whom he dearly loved. Jimmy is also survived by his father Arthur Sabattis and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Jimmy is also survived by the family he gained when he met his wife Marsha. Jimmy thought of Calvin (Andrea), Sheldon (Janice) as his brothers. Jimmy would be sadly missed by his nephews Grayson, Trent, Kevin, Peter and Lil Sheldon and niece Cindel (Teddy) Knockwood. Father-in-law Frederick Googoo. Jimmy was predeceased by Catherine Googoo (mother-in-law)
Jimmy is also survived by his godchildren Terrilee Polchies and Jordan Polchies. He leaves behind his little buddy Jensen Knockwood who admired and thought the world of Jimmy.
Jimmy was predeceased by his mother Loretta Sabattis and his maternal grandparents Mary Alice Sabattis and John Frank Sabattis who thought of Jimmy as their own son rather than a grandson.
Jimmy was predeceased by his sister Roberta Meuse and his brothers Malcolm Sabattis, Leonard “Lenny” Sabattis, John Sabattis and Adrian Sabattis. He was predeceased by his Nephews Joshua Sabattis and Kevin Lee Atwin-Sabattis.
Jimmy will be sadly missed by his long-time friends. These friends meant so much to Jimmy. You have impacted his life that he often said that you were all his “brothers” Chief Gabby Atwin, Patrick “Tyke” Polchies, Steve Meuse, Austin Christmas, Paul MacDonald, William “Billy Boy” Stevens, Norman “Jolli” Morris,Vincent “Binch” Stevens, Calvin “Jip” Paul, Jake Cremo, Robert Atwin, Claude Polchies and Angelo LaPorte.
Professionally Jimmy started his career as a Teacher’s Assistant at Riverview High School and Membertou Elementary. Eventually, Jimmy completed his Bachelor of Education Degree at St.F.X. University and continued his career as a substitute teacher within the Unamaki communities. Jimmy would be sadly missed by the students whom he had the honour to teach. “Mr. Jimmy” taught from the heart. Mr. Jimmy truly loved you all.
Not a day has gone by that Jimmy hasn’t forgotten about his family and friends that have passed on before him. There will never be a day that will go by that the family of Jimmy Sabattis will ever stop loving him.
Love You Always and Forever my one true love. You have given me a life and love that will never be replaced. You will never be forgotten. You will always be sadly missed by our beautiful sons. Our boys are so blessed to have a “Daddio” like you.
Until we are together again my Soul Mate and one true love.
