Theresa Rosalia McPhee

It is with sadness of heart that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and great grandmother, Theresa Rosalia McPhee, who passed away on March 11, 2025 in Halifax. Born in Canso on September 25, 1946 to the late Cecil and Margaret (Mason) Parker. Growing up in a large family of 15. Theresa developed a strong sense of family and a heart of compassion. Both of which served her well as she spent her career working with children with special needs. Nothing was more important to her than her own family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed creating special memories and spending time with family at the cottage in Beaver Cove.

Theresa is survived by her children Dan (Victoria) and Norma, grandchildren Crystal, Robert, Chloe, Hannah, her 4 great grandchildren Teddy, Rosie, Sadie and Benji as well as her siblings Tom (Doris), Bill (Pauline), Dave, Steve (Christine), John (Margie), Gertie (Roger), Colleen (Tom), Rita (Neil) and Marilyn (Eddie) and her many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Theresa was also predeceased by her husband Howard “Howie” and her siblings Cecil, Nelson, Charlie, Daisy and Brenda.

A time of visitation will take place on Saturday, March 22 from 11:00am until 1:00pm with a Funeral Service starting at 1pm all at TW Curry Parkview Chapel, 755 George St., Sydney. Memories and condolences can be shared with the family by visiting twcurry.com.
