Thomas "Tommy Business" J Stevens

It is with sadness of heart that we announce that Thomas Joseph Stevens, better known as "Tommy Business", passed away on July 27, 2025, at the age of 62. He was born on January 12, 1963 to the late Daniel and Gladys (Bernard) Stevens of Eskasoni.

Tommy was a lovable, friendly and open hearted, who got along with everyone he met. A hard worker, he worked as a carpenter and mason at many job sites throughout Eskasoni. Many will also remember the video store he ran from his home. Tommy had an open door policy and was always a place to hang out.

He is survived by his siblings John (Rachel MacDonald), godchild Liannan Gould, nephew Daniel Sylliboy, great nephew David Paul jr., great niece Hannah Paul and brother-in-law Ben Sylliboy as well as other relatives and many friends.

Besides his parents, Tommy was predeceased by his siblings Daniel jr., Anna Sylliboy, Lynda Ginnish and Theresa Stevens and nephew David Paul.

Visitation will be held at the Gabriel Centre in Eskasoni starting on Thursday, August 7th at 7pm and continuing until the Funeral Mass on Saturday, August 9th at 10am at Holy Family Church, Eskasoni.
