Adam Daniel Gilliland

Adam D. Gilliland was born May 15, 1978 in Sylacauga, AL and departed this earthly life July 27, 2019. Memorial Services for Adam will be Wednesday, July 31, at 6:30 PM at Weogufka Family Worship Center with Rev. Tommy Thornton officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 31, from 4:00-6:00 PM at Weogufka Family Worship Center. He was preceded in death by his father Dewey (Buddy) Gilliland. Adam is survived by his loving mother, Jane Wingfield Gilliland, sister: Amy Gilliland Mullins (Beau) of Weogufka; brother, Andrew Jackson Gilliland (Raylan) of Okeechobee, FL; nephew: Thomas D. Mullins; aunt; Becky Johns of Sylacauga, Great-Aunt; Pauline Gilliland Griffin of Sylacauga, aunt, Bonnie Riggins (Bill) of Sylacauga, uncle, Charles Wingfield (Tammy) of Huntsville,AL; several cousins. For the past several years Adam shared alongside and with his late Father his love for farming. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Weogufka Cancer Outreach c/o Weogufka Family Worship Center, 20771 Coosa County Rd 29, Weogufka, AL or Coosa County Cattlemen's Association 'Buddy Gilliland Scholarship Fund", 8711 AL Hwy 21, Sylacauga, AL 35151.
