Arnold "Arnie" Wayne Ricks

Childersburg, AL. - Arnold "Arnie" Wayne Ricks, age 80, passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2024.

Arnie is survived by his three sons, Russell Ricks (Shannon), Andy Ricks (Pam), Tim Ricks (Tina); daughter, Jena Sanders (Sadler); four grandchildren, Olivia Agee (Christian), Jarrett Ricks, Alexandra Ricks, Asa Ricks; two brothers, Gerald Ricks (Gay), Roger Ricks (Doris); and two sisters, Judy Duke (Ed) and Janice Browning (Ronnie).

Arnie was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Ricks; granddaughter, Erin Jones; parents, Wilford & Sadie Ricks; and three siblings, Edna Akers, Donald Ricks, and Bobbie Ricks.

A visitation for Arnie will be held Thursday, September 5, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home, 320 North Elm Avenue, Sylacauga, Alabama 35150, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Frank Thompson officiating.

Arnie will be laid to rest at Fayetteville Methodist Church, 5441 Old Fayetteville Rd., Sylacauga, Alabama 35151.

Serving as pallbearers are Russell Ricks, Andy Ricks, Tim Ricks, Sadler Sanders, Jarrett Ricks and Asa Ricks.
