Bennett Dalton LackeySylacauga - Funeral service for Bennett Dalton Lackey, 87, will be Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with the Rev. Lonnie Phillips, Mr. Shaun Harvel officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga, Alabama.Mr. Lackey died Saturday, June 19, 2010. He was married 68 years, was a member of the Midway Hunting Club, and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy after serving in the Pacific theater during World War II.He is survived by Wife, Kathryn Lackey of Sylacauga; 2 Sons, Ronald Lackey of Sylacauga, Larry Lackey of Sylacauga; Daughter, Teresa Lackey Phillips of Goodwater; 11 Grandchildren and 7 Great-Grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, June 21 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m.Pallbearers will be Paul Phillips, Shaun Harvel, Josh Harvel, Mike Mount, Richie Ingram, Chad Lackey.
