Betty Jean (Gill) Whaley

Betty Jean Whaley, age 78, of Sylacauga, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2024. She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Whaley; two sons, Scott Whaley and Jeff Whaley (Terri); sister, Barbara Whaley; brother, Leon Gill III (Jennifer); grandchildren, Ryan Whaley, Nikki Christopher, Kendall Lodge, Aiden Whaley and Kylie Grace Whaley; and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 17, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel with Rev. Mike Dankson officiating. Visitation will be Friday, August 16 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Betty will be laid to rest in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tony Gill, Brad Gill, Kenny Whaley, Ronny Sharpe, Darren Winningham, and Russell Davis. The family will accept flower or donations may be made to First Freewill Baptist Church in Betty's memory.
