Billie Jean Rognelson

Billie Jean Rognelson passed on April 8, 2026, at the age of 93; she was born November 11, 1932, in Childersburg, Alabama, and was a resident of Sylacauga, Alabama. Billie was preceded in death by her husband, Ward Rognelson Jr.; her father, Avery Caldwell; her mother, Maenetta Caldwell; her sister, Bonnie Tate; and her niece, Donna T. Castleberry. She is survived by her nephews, Jeff Tate (Kristin) and Chuck Tate (Jill); her nieces, Cindy Atkinson, Rosemary Johnson (Terry), and Robin Holmes (Scotty); her sister-in-law, Mary Jane Lee and a host of other family members.

A graveside service will be held at Childersburg Cemetery, 8th Ave. SW Childersburg, AL on April 11, 2026, at 11:00 am, and Billie will be laid to rest at Childersburg Cemetery.

The family will be receiving flowers of in lieu of flowers donations may be made in Billie's name to a charity of your choice.
