Carl J. BeanChildersburg, AL - Funeral service for Carl J. Bean, 74, will be Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 11:00 am at Radney-Smith Chapel with Dr. John Beck and Rev. James McCain officiating.  Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery in Childersburg, AL.Mr. Bean died Saturday, July 4, 2015 at his residence.  He was a very generous man.  He had a love of carpentry work and worked with Carpenters for Christ.  Mr. Bean loved his children and grandchildren and was a man of honor.He is survived by daughters, Carla Jean Barnett husband Tim of Childersburg and Beverly D Bean spouse Tamara of Alabaster, son, Scott Allen Bean wife Debbie of Vestavia, granddaughters, Emily Barnett, Andrea Barnett and Addison Bean, grandsons, Aidan Bean and Kaleb Brown, sister, Linda Burell of Pelham and longtime girlfriend, Sandra Fisher of Sylacauga.  Visitation will be Monday July 6, 2015 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. at Radney-Smith Funeral HomePallbearers will be Kaleb Brown, Jim Armstrong, Tim Allen, Steve Ferguson, Bubba Crumpton and David Keeton.Memorial messages may be sent to the family at www.radneysmith.com.Radney-Smith Funeral Home in Sylacauga, AL will direct the services.
