Charles "Sam" Landers

Sam is survived by his wife, Janey Landers; his sons Donnie Landers, Ronnie Landers, and Ricky Cotton; and his daughter Sharon Culberson; his brother Jimmy Landers and his sister Carol Waites; his grandchildren Phillip Landers, Tosha Williams, Amelia Horton, Kyle Cotton, C.J. Culberson, and Aaron Landers, and his great grandchildren Will Cotton, Joy Cotton, K.J. Culberson, Cash Culberson, Braylee Sneed, Charlotte Horton, Olivia Horton, Shaddox Green, Isabella Ballard and Caedon Ballard.

Sam was preceded in death by his father Grady Landers and his mother Myrtle Landers; his brothers Buck Landers and Tommy Landers and his sister Helen Cowger.

A visitation for Sam will be held Sunday, May 12, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Curtis and Son Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM. Sam will be laid to rest in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. All services will Be officiated by Rev. Michael Russell and Rev. Steve Heartsill.

Serving as pallbearers are Ricky Cotton, Darron Culberson, Baily Butler, Greg Landers, Kyle Cotton and C.J. Culberson.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Sam's memory may be made to Mignon United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 1273, Sylacauga, Alabama 35150 US.
