Sylacauga, AL - Funeral service for Clyde "Gene" Murphy, 54, will be Sunday, July 23, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Radney-Smith Chapel with Rev. Donald Grice officiating. Burial will be in Tallasahatchie Cemetery in Alpine, AL.
Mr. Murphy died Thursday, July 20, 2017 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham.
He is survived by his Fiancé, Edith Bryant; son, James Eugene Murphy; daughter, Zandie Murphy; son, William Bryant; daughter, Rose Bryant; son, Mathew Rainey; son, Scott Ferguson; daughter, Katherine Bryant; 8 grandchildren; parents, Sarah and Clyde G. Murphy; and sister, Angie Miley.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 22, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.
