Clyde Murphy, age 79, of Sylacauga, Alabama passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2022. Clyde was born July 20, 1942.

Clyde is survived by his daughter Angela Murphy; and his son Johnathan Vanzant (Heather); his sisters Peggy Wideman and Penny Jacobs, his brothers Gene Murphy and Billy Murphy; his grandchildren Jessica Benefield (Jeremy), Jamie Murphy (Ashley), Zandie Isbell (Aaron) and his 9 Great Grandchildren.

Clyde was preceded in death by his wife Sarah Murphy; his son Gene Murphy; his brothers Jimmy Murphy and Bobby Murphy.

A visitation for Clyde will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Unity Freewill Church, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Clyde will be laid to rest in Tallasahatchie Cemetery, Sylacauga, AL.
