Sylacauga, AL - Clyde Sanders, age 91, of Sylacauga, Alabama passed away on Friday, December 18, 2020. Clyde was born January 8, 1929 to Pearl Lavenea (Mims) Sanders and Charles D. Sanders.
Mr. Sanders was a longtime Deacon at Oldfield Baptist Church. He is survived by his children Eddie C. Sanders of Tuscaloosa, AL and Render S. Johnson of Sylacauga, AL; grandchildren Jason Bradley Sanders of Mobile, AL, Kimberly Paige Sanders of Tuscaloosa, AL, Callie Johnson of Atlanta, GA; great grandchild Madison Martin and great grandchild Savanah Martin; brother Gene Sanders of North Port, AL and sister Nell McDowell of Sylacauga, AL. He also leaves numerous nieces and nephews to cherish his memory.
Clyde was preceded in death by his wife Pearl Tippett Sanders; father Charles D. Sanders and mother Pearl Lavenea (Mims) Sanders; brothers Glenn Sanders; Hobson Sanders; Vernon Sanders; and Virgil Sanders.
He was a long serving deacon at Oldfield Baptist church, and served his community in the mechanic business for over 50 years.
The graveside service will occur Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL.
