David Edwin OwensChildersburg, AL - Graveside service for David Edwin Owens, 78, will be Monday, May 16, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Kahatchee Cemetery with the Gearld Vick officiating.  Burial will be in  Kahatchee Cemetery in Childersburg, AL.Mr. Owens died Friday, May 13, 2016 at Coosa Valley Medical Center.  He was preceded in death by his parents Wade and Naomi Owens and sister, Marjorie Owens.  He had a very generous heart, never expecting anything in return.  He always had a genuine concern for his fellow man.He is survived by three sons, Patrick Oneal Owens of Childersburg, Al., Daniel Blair of Henderson, TN., Darron Owens of California; four daughters, Desiree Hale Of Silver Springs, NV, Victoria Peoples husband Mark of Raleigh, NC, Elizabeth Burns husband Donald of Fayetteville, AL, Rebecca Duke husband Rodney of Vestavia, AL; 14 grandchildren and 1great-grandchild.Visitation will be Sunday, May 15, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to a neighbor in need in his honor.
