Sylacauga, AL. - Dixie Glenda Hubbard, age 84, passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2024.
Dixie is survived by her son, Joey Vanzant; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nices, and nephews.
Dixie was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Hubbard; father and mother, Charlie & Idona Johns; children, Jimmy Vanzant, Melinda Blankenship, Jerry Vanzant; and siblings, Gerald Johns, Charlsey Lyle, Faye Burton Crowe, and Wynell Brooks.
She was baptized at Calgary Baptist Church in Childersburg, AL. She was a caretaker and mother to all. She loved her children and grandchildren.
A visitation for Dixie will be held Sunday, August 25, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home, 320 North Elm Avenue, Sylacauga, Alabama 35150, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m.
Dixie will be laid to rest in Fayetteville Cemetery, 5441 Old Fayetteville Rd, Sylacauga, AL 35151.
