Mr. Donald Edward Coleman, age 80 of Sylacauga, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2016 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at 2:00 PM with the Rev. Tommy Reaves officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 9 from 1-2 PM.
Mr. Coleman retired from Bell South with 39 years of service. He was a councilman for the city of Oak Grove for 20 years and was a member of Marble City Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Coleman of Sylacauga; son, Tony Edward Coleman of Opelika; daughter, Lynn Coleman of Sylacauga; brother, Charles Coleman of Fayetteville; sister, Janet Robinson of Sylacauga; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Marc Butts and Tommy Hamilton.
