Dura Eldon "Don" Williams

Don is survived by his wife, Sue Williams; his sons Eric Bowden and Brandy Bowden; his daughters Dawn Bowden (Greg Butts) and Amber Summerrow (Tim); his brothers Steve Williams and Jeff Williams, his sisters Deborah Osbourne and Sherry Harmon (Michael); his 2 Grandchildren and his 1 Great Grandchild.

A funeral service for Don will be held Monday, April 21, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Curtis and Son Funeral Home, Sylacauga, Alabama, followed by a visitation from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. All services will be officiated by Rev. Mance McCarthy.

Serving as pallbearers are Lucas Bowden, Raymond Summerrow, Wayne Gallups, Brandy Bowden, Eric Bowden, and Greg Butts. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Larry Baker, Danny Morris, Gary Chandler, Bobby Peoples and Former Coworkers with the Birmingham News.
