Eddie Milton "Red" Weathers

Sylacauga, AL - Funeral service for Eddie Milton "Red" Weathers, 93, will be Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 2:00 pm at The Sanctuary with Rev. Freddie Edwards, Bro. Larry McConatha, and grandson, Junior Owings officiating. He will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL .

Mr. Weathers died Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 40 years, Mildred Johnson Weathers, his wife of 29 years, Trudie Weathers, two brothers, and five sisters. Mr. Weathers was a member of The Sanctuary in Sylacauga and was the owner of Weathers Metal Shop for 60 years.

He is survived by his son, Frank Throwbridge wife Carol of Cartersville, GA; three daughters, Sue Ragan husband Curtis, Linda Owings, and Patsy Kitchen, all of Sylacauga; brother, Paul Weathers of Arizona; nephew, Don Smith of Sylacauga; niece, Glenda Niewiadomski of Sylacauga; 11 grandchildren; and 19great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, February 10, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be his great-grandson's. Honorary pallbearers will be the Jacks Breakfast Group, ROMEO Group.
