Elizabeth ShawSylacauga, AL - Funeral service for Elizabeth Shaw, 81, will be Friday, November 6, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. David Lee officiating.   Mrs. Shaw will lie in state at the church starting at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.  Burial will be in Marble City Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL.Mrs. Shaw died Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Shaw; daughter, Donna Gail Entrekin; brother, Jerry Darnell; sister, Charlotte Darnell; parents, James Walter and Eunice Martell Darnell.  She served as secretary for Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church for over 35 years.  She was a very, very Christian woman.  Mrs. Shaw loved to cook, garden; she loved her flowers and Alabama football.  She was very giving and loved serving others.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.She is survived by her son, Kenneth Shaw; granddaughters, Crystal Entrekin and Melissa Gautney, husband Grant; grandson, Kevin Entrekin; great-granddaughters, Makayla Waddell and Lily Waddell; great-grandson, Luke Gautney; brother, Jimmy Darnell; niece, Robin Pierluisi; nephews, Scott Darnell and David Darnell, niece, Ann Darnell and son-in-law, Wayne Entrekin.
